Authenticating Using the Text Option


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to authenticate your G5 login using the Text option.


Steps:

  1. To begin, enter your Email ID and Password on the G5 homepage.

  2. Click the Yes, I Accept the Terms checkbox.

  3. Click the Login to G5 button to log in.

  4. Click the Text tab to authenticate your login using the Text option.

    Step 4

  5. The Text tab allows you to authenticate your G5 login by receiving a text message.

     

    The page will display the phone number you entered in the Mobile Number field on your G5 profile. You will receive a text message at this phone number which will provide you with a numerical code which you must enter in the Passcode field on this page.

  6. Click the Request Passcode button to initiate the text message.

    Step 6

  7. You will receive a text message containing a numerical code which you must type into the Passcode field.

     

    Click in the Passcode field to enter the numerical code.

  8. The code has been entered for you in this example.

     

    Note: The code will be active for 60 seconds from when you receive the text message. If you do not enter the code in the Passcode field within the 60 second window, you must press the Request Passcode button again to receive another text message with a new code.

  9. After entering the code, click the Verify Code button to complete the authentication.

  10. You will then be logged in to G5 and the homepage will appear.
