Purpose: This procedure demonstrates how a Department user performs changes to one, many or all discretionary or formula awards with the exception of modifying budget fiscal years. Users are only able to modify budget fiscal years for one discretionary or formula award at a time. While all the changes are performed to awards with a funding status of "Obligated," only ED Program Contact reassignments and changes of address are treated similar to administrative (admin) actions and require the printing of the grant award notification (GAN).
