Purpose: This procedure will demonstrate how to add a project objective to an award in G5.  Each objective has associated performance measures, which are initially defined at the grant schedule level.  Each objective can be further broken down into the following sections:  

• Description – A brief statement/sentence summarizing the objective
• Performance Measure – A brief text summary of the measure 
• Measure Type: The type of performance measure
• Targets: Targets are measured in three different possible formats: Raw Number, Ratio, or Percentage
