Purpose: This procedure demonstrates how to add or modify a Department of Education (Ed) contact for a formula record in G5. The formula record Ed program contact may be different than the formula allotment (or schedule) level Ed program contact. This procedure focuses on updating a single record at a time. For global updates to all formula records for a given schedule, refer to the topic Assign a Federal Contact.
G5 Role: Program Office Staff (as long as their office is associated with the CFDA Subprogram)

Prerequisites: The prerequisites for this topic are:
1. A grant schedule with a selected grant team exists in G5 for the formula allotment.
2. Formula records are in "Approved" status in G5.
3. The funding status must be less than "Obligated."
